This self-lighting luminaire is wall-mounted on a front wall, fence or gate pillar, for example. Its directional motion detector turns on the halogen lamp as soon as it spots the heat of a moving body in its area of coverage.

1 Understanding the different parts of the projector
The luminaire consists of three main organs, from top to
bottom:
The waterproof body with reflector, lampholders and protective
glass.
The electrical connection box.
The motion detector with three adjustment buttons.
The assembly clings to a support (or bracket) which is fixed
to the wall, in three points, by pegging and screwing.
2 Set the location
For optimum efficiency, place the
projector at a height between 2 and 3 m from the floor. At this height, the
detector covers an angle of 120 °. The minimum / maximum detection distance is
1 to 10 m
Check that there are no obstacles in the
coverage area
To avoid nuisance tripping, avoid
pointing the detector towards a source of heat or light, towards a surface
reflective or likely to experience rapid changes in temperature (pool water,
windows in a greenhouse or veranda.
- resent the media in the desired location.
- Make sure to level it well, and mark with a pencil its fixing points through its perforations.
- Drill the masonry with a hammer drill or drill according to its hardness.
- Insert into the holes dowels of suitable diameter and screw the support.

Connect the power cableTurn off power at the main circuit breaker before making electrical connectionsThe circuit
- The projector is powered by a 1.5mm2 three-conductor
cable (Ph, N and T).
For outdoor connections, use a standard HO5RN-F3G1 type cable. - The power supply can be done at the exit of wall (circuit recessed under corrugated sheath) or in apparent under rigid tube.
- We advise you to mount on the route a selective switch that allows, at choice, a manual or automatic use of detection.

The connection of the
projector
It is easier to connect
before setting up the projector.
Unscrew the control box
plate to access the terminal strip. Be careful not to lose washers and seals.
The bar has four connection
terminals. Only three concern you: they correspond to the phase, the neutral
and the earth.
Strip the strands of the
power cable to 6 mm.
Unscrew the cable gland and
cable clamp from the housing to route the cable. Tighten each wire into the
appropriate terminal: red (phase), blue (neutral), green-yellow (earth).
Screw in the cable clamp and
cable gland and close the housing.
Position the projector and
the halogen lamp
Fix the projector on its
support using the two side screws.
After making sure that it is
hooked, unscrew the glass cover and carefully remove it.
Setting up the halogen lamp
requires a lot of care. Use a clean, dry cloth (or glove) to handle it.
First, put one end of the
lamp on one of the two sockets.
Apply slight pressure to
clip it and insert the other end into the second socket.
Tips :
If, by mistake, your fingers
have touched the glass of the lamp, gently clean it with a cloth soaked in 90 °
alcohol
Turn on the power and turn on the switch.
To enable you to define the coverage area, the detector goes into test mode. You have 4 minutes to adjust the sweep by orienting the device accordingly.
Move slowly around the area. Each time you enter the field, the detector triggers the light and turns off after 4 seconds.
Next, determine the radius of action by rotating the detector up and down. The higher it is, the greater the detection distance and the less sensitive the device is to the movement of pets.
Now adjust the light sensitivity. Turn the corresponding knob to select the threshold from which the light will go off.
It remains to set the timer (duration of ignition) in automatic mode, according to the range predefined by the manufacturer: for example, from 10 seconds to 10 minutes.
